Plans lead to implementations and just a commitment leads to surprises!
Meeting yet another member of the Legal Community was a different experience. A visit to the super crowded Gurudwara Bangla Sahab on a Sunday evening, made us individuals there, and not two people together. Perhaps, it is a space where people do come for their conversations with God and hence, human beings can wait!
In spite of the full focus on God, there was an inclusion in the ways of being demonstrated. Little did I know that it was an evening well planned and executed with a lot of efforts.
It is said, time is money. Few people also say that time is life! So in this time & age, time is a rare commodity, we also meet our near and dear ones with a deadline and at times, like a task to be done.
And this sweet human being, left his meeting halfway to meet me on the scheduled time and made efforts to find out & plan a perfect place for dinner.
His simplicity, attention to the other person and being observant touched me deeply! People got no time in todays' world to "make" someone feel good. He made time to make me feel the evening!
At times, love does not come in the form and from the person we want but what I do know now is that love comes... in forms and shapes that makes life more meaningful.
His efforts of choosing the place, ensuring the ambiance is apt for what he thought was appropriate, getting everything arranged to make it just perfect, did not let me tell him my food preferences! I was at discomfort because I wanted to communicate. At the end of it all, I am glad that I did not. Far too much had gone into planning and making the evening the way it went, my preferences were not important...
Lesson Learnt: capsules of love take precedence over significant commitments and even the words given.
I am in awe of this magnificence of life... I am intrigued at how it ensures to give us a lot more than we insist on what we want. When we let go or just intend to let go of what we want, with specificity, life opens a whole new dimension...
Accept... Trust... Love...
