Life plays its' trump card when you expect it the least! With her focus completely on further studies and fulfilling the life purpose, she embarked on a journey: a religious camp that would last a day less than ten.
Infinite thoughts cross her mind; she is not too sure why is she even attending it! Least of all, she is not religious. "religion divides; spirituality unites", you could hear her aloud. Guess life was planning on her behalf, like a lot of times in her biography.
Half way through the camp, flowing like a log in gushy waters, she met this young man... & age felt most fleeting at that moment. A magical wand casted a spell on them. As she walked across the ground, the periphery of their vision exchanged a glance and there sealed a memory, in the zone of timelessness.
The first touch of her hand on his, felt an equation of chemistry gone perfect. All stood still to watch where a simple "hello" would lead.
Experimenting with life & sadly, knowing the "conditioning" of the society, for the first time, an expressive soul held back... held back her sharing, her love, even the blush on her face...
The last day of the camp: she had completions to do, with friends she made, aquaintances she learnt from and strangers she admired. Her eyes were fixed on the door for him to step out. He didn't, for hours; or atleast, it felt like hours! "So stupid, does he not know that we are going today? He can sleep once he gets back" is the stuck recorder that played, but no sight of him...
She makes her destiny! This time, she uttered, "must be our destiny not to meet now and after!" Left it there and turned out to see him getting clicked with various groups! Anger... Sadness... More Anger... For a second, she felt all to be in vain...
Completions are most important for her and she walks upto him knowing fully well that she would not interfere with "what's written" this time around and says a final "good-bye" to him...
Was that good-bye final? Did he feel anything even closer to what she did? Is he not too young a chap who is busy building himself up, rather than contemplating on life and fate?

Their paths crossed,
Their eyes met,
He kept her in his sight,
She kept him in her smile,
His hand felt familiar,
Her talks felt engaging,
Magnetism was apparent,
Connect was obvious.
Destiny is the common thread that has sewn them together... The Universe Echoes...
